The pictures speak for themselves. It was beautiful, and we had so much fun there. It has been a while since we took a family vacation, and I’m really glad we did.
We were invited to a new Years Eve’s Party at the Malaysian Petroleum Club. I actually didn’t want to go because we had a flight to catch that morning to Bali. Ramsey forced me to go, and I’m glad he did. The Malaysian Petroleum Club was on the 42nd floor, next to the famous Petronas Twin Towers Sky Bridge. The view was amazing, and we had the best seats in the house to watch the fireworks. We sat on the table with many other ExxonMobil employees, that we never met before. It’s always nice getting to know new people. They had two really good bands playing that night, and the…
We don’t celebrate Christmas, but I do participate in eating brunch with friends. We went to the Westin Hotel at Bukit Bintang and ate in the Prego restaurant, and it was so amazing. The best food, all Italian inspired, all you can eat, all day long. Were so full we couldn’t even think about eating dinner that night. I honestly can’t wait to do it next year, but this time I will prepare myself for the amazing food we will eat by fasting the day before so I don’t feel guilty pigging out.
Boy I’m seriously backed up on blogging, and posting photos. Here is a random album of Zidan with his friends.
Here are some random pictures of Z man, and Alia.
As if one Thanksgiving isn’t enough, we decided to do one more party with our friends. We all made tons of food and brought it over Tina’s house. We began dinner at 4:30pm and stayed at Tina’s house until she kicked us out, ha ha ha ha. The kids played games, and the men watched movies. Tina, Liz, and I hung out in the dining room laughing up a storm. We had so much fun, and great food, this was the best Thanksgiving we had in three years. We can’t wait to do it again next year.
It has been 3 years since moving to Malaysia that we didn’t have a Thanksgiving dinner. We thought it would be no fun since we have no family here. This year we attended the American Association of Malaysia Thanksgiving dinner, and we are so glad we did. We had a great time, seeing many familiar faces, and many of our friends. The food was great, everyone brought in dishes that they normally served for Thanksgiving, but the best part was the dessert.
Moving to Beverly Heights was the best thing we ever did besides moving to Malaysia. We had a great Halloween party at the club house, there were games, food, prizes, and even trick or treating.
King of the grill was in town, so I luckily grabbed the last set of tickets to attend his show. I took Ramsey there for a fathers day present, because I wanted to do something different for him, and I thought he might enjoy it since he loves to BBQ. Robert Rainford put on a great show, he was very charismatic, funny, and knew how to put on a great show. We sampled the food he made and it was fantastic, it made us want to go home and BBQ. To my surprise he was very tall, he doesn’t appear to be that tall on his show. We watch his…
Hubby, and I decided to go have some fun in Bangkok without any kids. We went to Benihana, we had a blast there. The cook showed us how to toss eggs like a pro, but I wasn’t so good at it. The first one hit the floor, and the second almost hit the girl next to me, but the cook caught it before it hit her in the face.
